Many people have said that dating is complicated. Actually, what really makes it complicated are the people involved.

Men and women are two unique “species” and, since they are different, there are complications. It’s hard putting two people together since both have different needs, backgrounds, habits, etc. Inevitably, clashes will be part of everyday life.

Men are attracted to women who know how to carry themselves and take pride in their appearance. And of course there is intellect, wit, charm and a sense of humour.

Men want someone trustworthy: This is a no-brainer cause who doesn’t. The point is, flirting may be great but when its time to get down to business, take him seriously.

Men want a loving home: Socialites, take heed. Men do eventually plan on settling down and having a home. And they are looking for a woman that could be a partner with whom he can share his home.

Men still go for the gentle and kind woman. This says a lot about what kind of a mother she will be in the future.

Men also want a sense of humour: This really helps especially during those tough times of monotonous days. And hey, life shouldn’t be too serious.

Men want women who are supportive: Nobody likes to be nagged or criticized, especially in tough situations. So be there for him, let him know that you care and will be by his side – just as you would like him to be by your side.

Men don’t like women who shout: Who does anyway? This is especially true in heated conversations when communication is key. Lively debates are fine but watch the rising tone of your voice. Just as women try to steer clear from men with hot tempers, the same goes for men.

Men want commitment: Surprising but true. Most men, whether they admit it or not are looking for long-lasting relationships and someone who will be there for them and someone they will be there for.

While these are general observations, they hold true most of the time nonetheless. So when dating someone new, or even someone you’ve been with for quite some time now, get to know him better. It may surprise you.
