Try checking if he referred to your name other than the opening remark, or if he mentioned something that refers to your profile. This could be your first cue that he is sincere, but don’t go trusting the person just yet.

The next thing you could do is to get a good review of the photograph of the person. You would like to get a good eye on your future husband before actually sending wedding invitations right? Some men like to make a mountain out of a molehill – check if the person still looks like the man in the picture. That could have been him 10 years ago. There’s nothing wrong with asking and double-checking. People tend to mislead others to make them look good and the easiest way to do this would be online. However, there are still people who won’t directly lie, so go ahead and ask that question you’ve been bothering yourself about. Make sure he doesn’t miss out on anything and you could ask for the sufficient information you need in order to keep you at ease.

Once you establish a good online dating relationship, and you both feel comfortable enough to meet each other personally, the next step is to go straight up and do so. If the person hesitates to progress from virtual reality into real-ity, then he must be hiding something. Uh-oh! Not a good sign, he could be married or in a relationship. So be sure to get hold of enough information and make sure you are comfortable with the idea before deciding to take the online dating relationship outside of your personal computer.
